So, of course, even at the end of a reading slump, I can still dive right into a book by R.L. Delectable is no different.
I think this story has to be the most adorable out of the Neighbour From Hell series. Reese Bradford, I would say the most sensitive Bradford so far, is also, I would say, the most held back – waiting for ‘the one’ to be his first and only lover. He is adorable!
Then, of course, there is our heroine Kasey, who is sassy, funny, a mother of Mikey who has an amazing arm and eye for Baseball. She hasn’t had the easiest time in her past, but once Reese enters her life, it looks so much more promising!
This story is no different than any of her others, however I found that there were extra areas that R.L. went into in this book. The heroine had already had a child (so far totally new to the NFH series); the hero is sensitive and doesn’t really know what he wants to be doing with his life.
I know that R.L. mentioned that she was so nervous of letting us readers (‘critics’) to finally get hold of this book (which is always the case). She mentioned how much it means to her and that she had been writing it for a year. I want to put a total disclaimer out there – she had nothing to worry about
I find that with R.L.’s writing I can just get into it at any point, and I always feel a massive loss once I have finished one of her books. Her characters are always so loveable. If any of you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen my massive gush about how I love R.L’s writing and how I so wish she would do a ‘Tip to Sassy’ book!
I don’t think I need to say more, to be honest, about this book. I seriously recommend this series if you love a good romance, don’t mind a bit of sexual tension and laugh out loud moments, PICK THEM UP!
