The Mirror King is the second and last book in The Orphan Queen duology and my God did it have a few twists in it that I didn’t see coming!

I really enjoyed this book! This book took me through blood, sweat and tears and I lived it every step of the way. I wondered often how they were going to get through situations and how people survived when it should have been impossible. With arguments between friends and allies, lovers that were never going to come together and lands at war, it was gripping and fast moving.

Tobiah and Wilhelmina are at odds with duty, love and what they believe in and this really comes across in the last book. You really can’t tell if everything is going to work out. I won’t lie, this book truly made me blub tears and laugh out loud. Every emotion you could think of I had.

The enjoyment I had from this duology is unreal. I bought it as a ‘give it a go, it sounds good’, but it was better than I expected.
